Services
Every service works wonders on its own, but at Tammys Remedial Massage, we blend techniques to create the most effective treatment for you.

Remedial Massage
A tailored treatment plan in remedial massage means your session is designed specifically for you—not a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your lifestyle, pain points, and goals, and assess how your body is moving and feeling on the day.
From there, I focus on targeted muscle groups that need the most attention, whether it’s tight shoulders, lower back tension, or areas affected by stress or injury. Techniques and pressure are adjusted throughout the session based on your feedback, ensuring the treatment is both effective and comfortable.
The goal is to provide relief, improve mobility, and support your overall wellbeing with a personalised approach that evolves as your body changes.

Assisted Stretching
Assisted stretching is a guided technique where a therapist helps move and lengthen your muscles safely, allowing deeper stretches than you can achieve alone. It improves flexibility, releases tension, enhances joint mobility, and supports better posture. Sessions are tailored to your needs and can aid recovery after exercise or injury.
You’ll also be taught simple, easy stretches to do at home, like gentle hamstring stretches, shoulder rolls, neck stretches, and calf stretches. These are practical, quick, and doable, helping you maintain flexibility, reduce tension, and feel your best between sessions.

Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique used to relieve muscle pain and tension by targeting tight knots or trigger points with fine, sterile needles. It helps release muscle tightness, improve range of motion, reduce discomfort, and support faster recovery from injury or overuse.
Performed by a qualified therapist with a certified dry needling qualification, the treatment is safe, precise, and tailored to your body’s needs. Sessions may include guidance on stretches or exercises to maintain results and prevent future tension.
Ideal for athletes, chronic pain sufferers, or anyone experiencing muscle stiffness, dry needling can complement massage and rehabilitation therapies for optimal results.

Relaxation Massage
Experience a relaxing and caring massage designed to gently ease away your worries and tension. Each session is focused on creating a calm, safe space where you can truly switch off and unwind. Using slow, soothing techniques and mindful pressure, the treatment helps release built-up tension, calm the nervous system, and restore a sense of balance in both body and mind.
You’ll be listened to and cared for throughout, with the massage adapted to your comfort level and individual needs on the day. Whether you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or simply in need of time out, this nurturing approach supports deep relaxation and emotional reset.
Leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself—ready to return to your day with renewed energy, clarity, and a sense of inner peace.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapeutic technique that applies gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears, which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. It promotes relaxation, improves circulation, reduces stress, and supports overall wellbeing.
I currently hold an Introduction to Reflexology certificate, giving me the foundation to safely provide this therapy. I am planning to complete the full qualification to deepen my skills and offer more advanced reflexology treatments.
Reflexology can be used alongside remedial massage or other therapies to enhance relaxation, support recovery, and promote balance throughout the body, making it ideal for stress relief, fatigue, and general wellness.

Myofascia Release
Myofascial release is a gentle, hands-on therapy that targets the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding muscles—to release tension, improve mobility, and reduce pain. It helps restore natural movement patterns, relieve chronic stiffness, and support overall body balance.
I currently hold an Introductory Certificate in Myofascial Release, allowing me to safely provide this therapy as part of your treatment. Sessions are tailored to your needs, focusing on areas of restriction to promote relaxation, flexibility, and improved function.
Ideal for chronic pain, postural tension, or recovery from injury, myofascial release complements remedial massage and other therapies to enhance mobility, reduce discomfort, and support long-term wellbeing.

Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique that helps stimulate the lymphatic system, supporting detoxification, reducing swelling, and improving circulation. It can aid recovery, boost immunity, and promote overall wellbeing.
I currently hold an Introduction to Lymphatic Massage certification, allowing me to safely provide this gentle, nurturing therapy. Treatments are tailored to your needs, helping relieve fluid retention, support post-injury or post-surgery recovery, and encourage relaxation.
Ideal for anyone looking to reduce swelling, improve circulation, or enhance their body’s natural detoxification processes, lymphatic drainage complements other therapies like remedial massage and rehabilitation work.

Sports Massage
Sports massage is a targeted treatment designed to support muscle recovery, improve performance, and prevent injury. It focuses on specific muscle groups used in your activity, using techniques like deep tissue work, stretching, and trigger point therapy to release tension and improve flexibility.
Whether you’re training regularly, recovering from strain, or preparing for an event, sports massage helps reduce soreness, increase circulation, and keep your body moving efficiently. It can be tailored to your sport, intensity level, and individual needs to support both performance and recovery.

Embodied IChing
Embodied I‑Ching is a mindful practice that combines the ancient wisdom of the I Ching with body‑awareness and intuitive movement. It uses the I Ching’s hexagrams as reflective prompts to explore your physical sensations, emotions, and inner guidance, helping you become more present, aware, and connected to yourself.
Through gentle movement, breath awareness, and reflection, Embodied I‑Ching supports clarity, grounded decision‑making, and emotional balance. It’s less about cognitive analysis and more about feeling into what your body and intuition reveal in relation to the themes of the I Ching.
People often use it for stress relief, self‑discovery, creative insight, and cultivating a deeper sense of alignment between mind and body. It offers a holistic way to tap into ancient symbolic guidance in a way that’s relevant to your personal experience and wellbeing.
